Government Accountability Office?

When I see a head line like this Senate caves, votes to give telecoms retroactive immunity

I am angered beyond, beyond, beyond belief.

When there is a call from the current administration to move noninherent government positions to contractors, when there is a call from the current administration to make the government run more like a corporation, when there is a call from the current administration to have measurable business objectives, when the current administration passes Sarbanes Oxley to help hold corporations responsible, I stand exasperated that this same administration will tell congress that they won't sign a bill without immunity for companies that may have broken the law.

Though since what I have seen from the Republicans in general and certainly this administration is that the rules, let alone accountability, is something that only applies to everyone else, I shouldn't be surprised.

Based on all of the oxymoronic names given to programs by this administration, I propose that this bill be referred to as the "Hold Illegal Spying Responsible Act"

Update: The House wasn't a bunch of fools and they didn't pass it!!!!
