Pope Powers

Scare as man tries to board popemobile
• Man vaults security barriers and tries to climb onboard popemobile in Vatican City
• Security guards wrestle the man to the ground and arrest him

I read this on CNN.com and the first thought that came to mind is why does the Pope need security? Doesn't he have the power of God behind him? Shouldn't that be enough?
