The Pentagon City mall sucks, from the fact that I have to pay for parking to the fact the the people who designed it thought I would be a great idea to carpet the outside! No really this is damp carpet I'm walking over to get into the mall from the parking lot I've spend money to spend time in. Additionally when I used their automated system (which didn't work, initially) The parking attendent, barked at me "Give me your card"

A few notable things from this morning's Metro ride (making me glad I bike back and forth most days)
1) Tourists, 'tis the season and while I enjoy watching the tourists. I don't get why they try to "out American" the people here seriously lady your American flag cell phone isn't what reminds me that I'm in the capitol, it is the fact that I pass the White House and the Capitol building on my way home from work, stop it and put your phone back in the fanny pack.
2) Couple that look like each other are creepy, really creepy. I saw two guys get on the Metro today who look like they could have been twins, in fact I was pretty sure that's what they were until they kissed good bye, they even had the same haircut and facial hair. I find it strange that people would want to date their evil twin, I would be freaked out if I were attracted to girls who look they could be related to me.

Whoring Out to Google

Over the last few months Google has released a bunch of new shit, namely Calendar, Sheets they both also seem to be cool with Safari (currently my browser of choice, though FireFox has been looking a lot better to me lately) Anyway, I'm also a card carrying ACLU member who is always concerned with privacy, so the question is do I whore myself out to Google and all of their web goodness, or do I keep my stuff, my stuff and not have some of the neato features?

1) My friend has a CD stuck in the drive of his PowerBook, he's tried the holding down the mouse button and eject button trick neither worked, anyone have any suggestions?

2) I'm now thinking of using the MacBook Pro as my daily computer and the MacBook Not Pro as my entertainment system, will the faster HDD (7200/5400) and the video card make a difference?
