Why I Don't Eat at Chick-fil-A

My girlfriend mentioned to me that she was passing a Chick-fil-A and was excited about it. I told her that I won't eat there based on political reasons. SHE DID NOT EAT THERE

I've decided to share why I don't spend my dollars there with my loyal readers, so they know where their money goes when they buy from Chick-fil-A.

Chick-fil-A is one of the largest corporate sponsors of Focus on the Family, FoF is religious group led by James Dobson, Dobson promotes the following:

* Men have the divine obligation to lead their families, and women have the divine obligation to submit to their husband's authority
* The call for men to lead isn't limited to the home, but stretches to both the church and government. He is highly critical of efforts to increase a female presence of leadership in these realms of authority.
* He doesn't recommend women with any children under the age of eighteen to work outside the home
* He is against stem cell research
* He is against a woman's right to choose
* He contends that "tolerance and diversity" are "buzzwords" that are misused as part of a hidden agenda to promote homosexuality

So there folks is why I won't eat at Chick-fil-A because I don't want spend my money with companies that support such ridiculous notions women's rights, science and tolerance.

Ladies if you still decide to eat at Chick-fil-A you'd better check with your husband to make sure that's what he wants you leave the kitchen for.

Dear anonymous commenter they are NOT Mormon, they are Southern Baptists. Which is a far scarier group.
