Charging to Spam

People have recently got a lot of sand in their vaginas about AOL and Yahoo! discussing that they may accept payment for what is basically spam, from "legit" companies. This some how is supposed to stop people from getting a bunch of unwanted email because then only the paying customers will be able to send it. The rational for this whole thing is based on "it works for the postal system" Well I question that, my snail mail box at home is always filled with crap, tons of crap. Crap that ranges from ads from the local Safeway which go right to the recycling bin to credit card offers to mortgage refinance offers to insurance offers to cards from real estate agents to letters for dental services to my personal favorite the letter I get from some crazy church (redundant I know) that send me, for lack of a better term, trinkets that I am supposed to "pray on" and mail back, once just for fun I tried it. I prayed on the "prayer rug" (actually a piece of paper) and as directed I wrote my wish in the middle (In this case the legalization of marriage for all people gay or straight) and "seeded" it with some money (a nickel) and you know what, that shit didn't work, but I digress. The point I was trying to make was I get all of this offers in the mail, that people PAY to send me and I don't fucking do anything with them except recycle, shred or if really entertaining, mail shit back but only as a joke. The last thing I would ever do is actually buy something from these people! So please companies that want to use Yahoo! and AOL to this don't because it won't work and rather than sending back your business reply envelope with toe nail clippings and whatever random stuff I find on the way home. I can be a lot more creative with your emails because I know some computer things.
