If There was Ever a Reason to Buy a Ford

I know that the URL doesn't imply it, but this site http://www.boycottford.com/ courtesy of the American Family Ass. gives a lot of great reasons to buy autos from Ford.

Weekly Fuck the AFA

http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/5/272005a.asp

Think about this you fuckers, you'd be pretty pissed if people pushed Islam or Atheism on your kids, and I know this because you get pissed as hell when real science is taught to your kids.

To My Fellow Commuters on the GW Speedway

Dear Fellow Commuters,

There is a simple concept that if you follow all of our lives will be easier. The left lane is for passing, the right lane is for going slower. To help you remember this when you are on the GW Speedway, here is a simple rule to follow. If you are in the left lane the people in the right lane are going the same speed as you or faster, move to the right. That's it and no one will want to flip you off.

Thanks,
DC Dan

Because Knowing is Half the Battle

God dammit the American Family Ass. is at it again. This time again because educating kids seems like a bad idea
http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/5/252005a.asp to read their shit, no I'm not linking it I'd hate for a child to accidently end up on their site.
" The curriculum came under fire for implying that homosexuality is a biological trait and for showing, on a video, how to put on a condom, using a cucumber."

The only thing I could possibly see wrong with teaching that to children is that used a cucumber instead of a dildo or a, gasp, real penis.

Anyway enough and I'd to use this space to issue a public service announcement. Please help this man get laid so that he doesn't need to prevent high school kids from getting some safely.

Synergy2 Kicks Ass

I installed Synergy 2 and it is pretty kick ass, basically the way to think about it is if you dual monitor and a KVM put into one. If you have more than two computers next to each other I suggest you try it.

Let's Do It For the Kids

While and I almost every other person in the world agrees that child porn is a sick, disgusting and vile thing. I and most other rational thinkers, feel that porn that doesn't involve children, is a O.K., but there are some annoying fuckers who feel it is their mission to remove as much pleasure from the world as possible. As such stories like this appear on CNN Basically what addict and President Bush's administration has done is made the binary news groups illegal and have pretty much ended amateur and anonymous porn. To make it clear to the right, your addict and president is anti-business, he has created a huge reporting requirement to the small business person who is just trying to get by, by exposing themselves on the web. Not only has this closed a market, it has guaranteed that good porn jobs are now going over seas. While I'll agree cracking down on people who deal with child porn is very good thing, killing a large majority of US of A's porn industry is not. Gonzales congratulations you are making Ashcroft look good.

10.4.1 + WebDAV + 2 Finder Windows = Fucked

I just applied the 10.4.1 update and realized that opening a WebDAV folder and two finder windows, even if you are looking only at local files, will get you the spinning ball. That is not sweet fucking cool.

And Because No Day Is Complete

Without sharing info from the American Family Ass.
SCHOOL DISTRICT SUED AFTER CHARGING BIBLE CLUB UNFAIRLY FOR ACCESS
A sponsor of after-school Bible clubs for public schools has filed a lawsuit against one California school district in an effort to stop what an attorney with Liberty Counsel contends are discriminatory access fees.
More details: http://headlines.agapepress.org/archive/5/172005c.asp
No I'm not going to link to it.

Basically the Ass. is pissed off because a California school district, who doesn't want to break the law, is charging, again in accordance with the law, a religious Bible study group to use the facilities. I think there a few good ways to stop this shit, first is have Koran study group, second start a Satanic study group, third start a evolution study group and finally start another Bible study group that will critically look at the Bible and point out a lot of its failing and also point out the hypocrisy of the people claim to be "Bible believers" and hate on things like pre-marital sex and homosexuality, but then don't follow the rules when it comes to eating shrimp, having multiple wives and stoning to death people who don't keep the sabbath.

Shout Out to Murky

Third mmmm, the best damn coffee and free wireless!

Shout Out to Travis

Thanks for the game!

Name Change

I'd like to change my name to contain at least one syllable that can't be pronounced in every language, so that you'd have to know at least two languages to pronounce my name.

The Campaign for Ignorance

In the ever going campaign for ignorance, the American Family Ass. is claiming victory over the stickers that they have managed to get stuck in the front of text books that say "Evolution is a theory not a fact" I see this thrown around so often that it wouldn't warrant mention this article seems to cover a lot of my religious right peeves.
First off this quote "It was simply because some Christian parents were concerned that evolution was being taught as fact and not as theory," he says, "and they wanted their kids to be told, 'Look, make sure you think critically.'" No it was because some people are pretty pissed that their kids will go to school and learn things like Santa Claus or the Easter Bunny not being real their parents may eventually ceded these facts, but won't also want to cede that Creationism is simply not true, because then they will have the ability to question the whole bible and they will loose their ability to use their threat of going to heaven to control their kids. Second, being Christian and "having faith" by definition is not critically thinking. Having faith means "belief that does not rest on logical proof or material evidence" this is NOT by any means critical thinking.
and the following quote is what put my over the edge.

The high priests of evolution[sic], if you will, are becoming increasingly shrill in their attacks on, for instance, the intelligent design scientists," the AFA Law Center attorney notes, "and the reason for that is they're not able to answer [the proponents of the intelligent design theory]. They can't debate them and meet them on intellectual and scientific terms."

The reason that evolutionists are becoming more shrill, is because you dumb mother fuckers don't listen, several scientists have explained over and over again the flaws in intelligent design, and yet you don't listen. My favorite is the watch story that says "If I were to look under a rock and find a watch clearly that watch had to have been made and didn't just happen" more detailed story The key that William Paley, missed out on is something that people have been "shrilling" about for a while, first of is watched don't reproduce, secondly you don't a have fossil record where you can observe how the watches have evolved over time to current watches. Anyway if you'll note, the way that I analyzed the watchmaker theory is an example of critical thinking, which is the only thing you are taking from your kids with your fucking stickers in the books.

Washington The Evergreen State

The American Family Ass. news letter today points out the children of Washington state will be fucked (literally and figuratively) on sex education by only being given half of the story. In other news from the great state of Washington, the mayor of Spokane, who was known to be against gay rights was part of an investigation, where in it was discovered the while using the moniker "RightBiGuy" was using his power as mayor for his own gain, in this case fucking young men in their late teens and early twenties. What I don't see is that it is all that shocking, the Republican leadership in this country have for been fucking the young men of our military since Nixon.

More news from the American Family Ass. rag, involving a student dismissed from LeMoyne College Scott McConnell was expelled from the college for expressing that spanking (again with the spanking!) has a place in school, while multiculturalism, doesn't. While I agree that people should be able to speak freely, it is clear Scott was clearly not talented enough to use his brain like most conservatives and wait until he was a school teacher, or mayor, to start spanking little boys, like the rest of them do.

Appeal to Psychiatrists and Psychologists

This idea came to me after reading in an American Family ASS news letter, that someone from "Focus offers a program that shows how homosexuality can be treated or prevented." Focus is of course the Fucking Focus on the Family group. Anyway, I've decided a good way to fight fire is with fire. I'm asking psychiatrists and psychologists to get religious fundamentalism a listing in the DMS-IV. It will have symptoms of "talking to God" a belief in wild fantasies of "Creationism" and "Intelligent Design" and a denial of science, it is also filled with paranoid delusions of a conspiracy of "liberal media control" and a "homosexual agenda" I know that sometimes psychiatrists and psychologists are put down by the harder sciences because it the lines are not as subjective as in, say physics or chemistry, but doing something like this would surely make them your brothers in arms as you'd help to allow them to do their research in fields like evolutionary science, without having to worry about it being banned by some, now technically crazy, religious fundamentalists. This way we can "treat and prevent" religious fundamentalism and get James Dobson the help he needs.
