I Loathe VBScript and Hate Perl

I've been working with VBScript (in ASPs) for the last couple of days and words can't even begin to describe my annoyance with the "language" it is actually more of a jaw dropping experience that this language is all over place. For those who think, like I did that ASPs are merely JSPs for MS you are not even close.
As for Perl I saw the line "We use Extreme Programming and Perl; XP or other rigorous XP-like techniques are probably the only way to keep a 200K-line Perl program maintainable." Um only way to keep a 200k-line Perl program maintainable, is to not. DC Dan officially hates non-compiled code.
